Factiva should open up it's normaliz...Amen to that! Factiva should open up it's normalization engine as a subscription API service. Feed your content in, get back your content fully indexed against the Factiva taxonomy.<BR/><BR/>Headlines, Snippets, and XML file of Factiva codes could then be made available for free with click thrus either going back to Factiva for monetiztion via subscription or to the newspaper's own site where they monetize it with advertising. <BR/><BR/>Let the choice be up to the newspapers how they want to monetize the attention so Factiva is not competing with them on scarcity.<BR/><BR/>Factiva should host a mashup contest, whaddya think?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
